Hog Roast - Pig Roast - Spit Roast - Hog Roaster - Hog Roasts
Spitting Pig South West is based in a sleepy little village Duntisbourne Abbots just shy of Fossebridge. Our location allows us to benefit from the best of both worlds. We have the hustle and bustle of the popular City Centre. With its sprawling Cathedral and the many businesses, many of which have booked Hog Roasts for corporate events in the past. There is also the beautiful town centre of Bisley, made famous for horse racing, great shopping and elegant buildings.
During Gold Cup week in particular, we are always extremely busy with many of the local pubs and even the Race Course itself offering their guests the finest hog roasts in the area. With over five machines and a team of fully trained staff, we have managed to build and maintain a reputation for great food and an unbeatable service. This ensures that we stay at the forefront of our clients minds so when someone utters the words hog roast in Frocester, Spitting Pig South West is guaranteed to get a mention.
Both Bisley and Frocester are surrounded by some of the most picturesque villages in England and it is the Cotswolds that help us to both source the majority of our produce and a fair few of our clients. We are often asked to cater for weddings at large country houses and picturesque hotels. A hog roast is often seen as quintessentially English and is a great way of maintaining a rustic feel at a country wedding. We offer a range of canapés that can be enjoyed in a country garden before the hog roast is served. This can then be followed by some fabulously fattening desserts and what better way to end a meal in the country than a very British pit of tea?
It is easy to forget that we are neighboured by some of the larger Cities in the South West and we are often travelling to and from Bisley, and Staunton amongst others. We never charge for travelling and our teams are happy to travel as long as we have clear instructions on how to get there.
A huge amount of our enquiries come from Highnam itself. We have catered for events at both the Cathedral and at the historic Docks which have both been lucky enough to undergo huge renovations over the past couple of years. Not only has this opened doors to Hucclecote and Abbeymead as a whole, attracting new businesses and encouraging people to look seriously into property development, it has also had a positive effect on our business. We benefited from an increase in employment and bookings in the area have increased tenfold; businesses seem to celebrate their profits by thanking their staff with traditional hog roasts and those that are looking to get married are often enquiring about our ever popular menus. What better way to celebrate your wedding than a traditional menu with a hog roast as its centre piece?
